Yawn!

We are on the ground in Frankfurt! Yay! Our flight was great! Well, except for a few bumps. We hit some turbulance somewhere over Newfoundland just as they served our dinner. It was a little rough and Alex looked at me and said 'what do we do?'. I laughed at him and said you eat your supper and try and get more in your mouth than down your front! I succeeded. He was not so talented! We are sitting waiting to get off the plane. There was a medical emergency on the plane and so the paramedics have had to board and remove the patient. That's ok cause we are not in any real hurry as it seems we are not going to be leaving the Frankfurt airport but will be spending the next 7 hours here until we board our flight to Madrid. It seems there are some rotating strikes happening here including public works so it has been decided that it wouldn't be prudent to take 28 teenagers into the city for a couple of hrs. I didn't think it was prudent before we learned of the strike but am even more in favour of staying out now. One small glitch might be the fact that the luggage handlers are part of the strike. Hmmmm ... Any bets on how many of us are missing bags in Madrid? Lol!

Time to go explore the airport! Ciao! Oh wait! That's Italian! Adios! :-)
